Good day, good day. And happy Tuesday ☺️ A little food for thought for you today Reader… Have you ever thought about how much of your day is made up of habits? You know, the things you do on repeat, often without thinking too much about them? Things like how you start your morning, how you eat, how you breathe when things feel rushed, what you reach for when there’s a quiet moment (or when there isn’t). Some of these habits truly support you, helping you get through the day with more consistency and ease. Others, however, run on autopilot and aren't really doing much for you other than keep you in a loop familiar loop. There is a difference between an unconscious habit and a conscious one, or a ritual as I've been calling them, that brings more meaning into how you are doing what you are doing, and why. Let me explain. My guess is that you already drink water throughout the day. That's a great habit to keep up! But when you take a sip, are you aware of the action you are doing, or are you gulping down drinks in between emails and phone calls? What if instead you took five seconds for yourself and actually paused for a conscious water break? This is what I mean by a conscious habit. Nothing changed except your attention and awareness. The action remained the same. That's what I mean by a ritual. Not as a religious ceremony, but as an invitation to interrupt the unconscious pattern. It turns small but important tasks, like staying hydrated, a little meditation in motion. Slowing down just enough to notice what’s present and happening. What do you think... is there one habit you repeat every single day, and what might change if you brought a little more awareness to it? This is the kind of work we’ve been talking about and pondering inside the AUM@home Community. Simple, realistic rituals rooted in Yoga and Ayurveda that support whole body wellbeing. Nothing fancy. Just supportive, doable practices for real life moments. Big love, xoM |

Hello hello Reader , Happy first day of spring! I enjoy winter, I really do. But this morning, as I stepped outside for my walk, a red-breasted robin was singing high up in the tree, and I have to say, I felt genuinely grateful for the signs of a new season. Spring doesn't always look the way we expect it to, and there is actually snow in the forecast here today, which made me laugh. Also, on my walks this week, I've noticed how the tree tips are starting to look fuzzy and new growth is...
Hello hello Reader , I want to share something a little personal with you today. I know what it's like to cough, sneeze, laugh too hard, or chase the dog around the yard and feel that quiet embarrassment that so many of us carry around without ever saying out loud. Incontinence is one of those things women often live with in silence, assuming it's just part of the deal after having babies, or getting older, or simply being a woman with a busy body and a full life. It doesn't have to be. What...
Good day, good day Reader , This time last week I was completely knocked down by a nasty flu. Fever, chills, headache… it was one of those bugs where you go to bed feeling fine and then somewhere in the middle of the night you wake up and know you're in for it. For three full days it was couch to bed, bed to couch, sipping water and broth, allowing my body the time it needed to rest and recover. It wasn’t how I would have planned to spend the week, but sometimes the body makes decisions that...
